Myrinne - OC design

That is one of the OC's I've created for my fantasy novel. I've just started shaping out the characters so I draw them a lot. ^^

Anyhoo, she belongs to the race of varkyr - humanoid creatures that populate the seas. Valkyr are amphibians and their birth places are enormous underwater cities. When reaching maturity a lot of valkyr venture in the world above the water and usually become either pirates or mercenaries. records sometimes call them sirens or mermaids. No records ever speak of male valkyr but that does not mean they do not exist.
Valkyr are resistant to magic, making them perfect guns for hire if the runaway slave mage without a restriction collar must be brought back or be eliminated.

Myrinne is a jack-of-all-trades and is hired by an unknown party to aquire one specific and apparently very important slave mage.

I tried to use lots of colors and be a bit braver with them then I usually do, creating something a bit more... vibrant, I guess. reference is used for pose.
